How many of you see products marketed as “Chemical Free”? Probably a lot of you as it has become a huge marketing term.
What they are trying to say, is that the product is safe, healthy, environmentally friendly because it only contains natural ingredients. That it is free from synthetic and harmful chemicals.
From a chemist’s perspective, the term is a misnomer, as all substances and objects are composed entirely of chemicals and energy. The term chemical is roughly a synonym for matter, and all substances, such as water and air, are chemicals. Not to mention the container the product is in.
Therefore, none of our products are chemical free, however, they are toxin free 🙂
