6-12 Months prior to wedding:

Let’s talk skin. Having a good skincare regimen will be essential to nice, glowing skin for your wedding day. If you don’t already have a plan, it’s time to look into a good cleanser and moisturizer. We know of a few here 🙂 Also, perhaps some facials along the way?

1-2 months before:

Meet with your artist for a trial run if you have not done so already. If you are not happy, now is the time to speak up. Seriously, you will not hurt our feelings. We are here for YOU and what YOU say matters. Leaving your concerns until the wedding day may cause you more stress than needed, let’s take care of it at the trial.

1. Get them about a month before the wedding and do a fill a few days before the wedding day. This way you can test them out and make sure you like them and adjust the length/fullness at your fill. You can also see if you have any reactions to the products.

2. Do a test on the lashes 2 weeks before and wait the 24 hour period to see if you have any reactions. No reactions? Do the full set a few days before the wedding. There is nothing worse than getting a new treatment so close to your wedding day and having a reaction to the products (especially around your eyes!) and not having enough time for it to heal before the big day.

1 week before:

Remind your man to get his final trim if he hasn’t already done so. I’ve known some that leave this until the DAY OF!

Drink plenty of water. Avoiding salty foods can help eliminate your body retaining water and causing puffy eyes!

Day before:

Wash your hair. If you have super oily hair, do this the night before. If you can go the day, do it the morning before. The natural oils in your hair will help hold your hairstyle so it can last throughout the entire wedding.

Take a long, relaxing bath. Do a cold compress on your eyes to avoid puffiness. Enjoy a cup of chamomile tea.

It’s your wedding day!

Wear a robe or button down shirt (something that can easily come off without ruining your hair).

Drink plenty of water.

Be sure to have something to eat.

Take a few moments to reflect on the meaning of the day before giving yourself one last once-over in the mirror. Now go marry the love of your life!
