Stefani Chies, founder – clean beauty advisor, herbalist
Stef graduated from Blanche MacDonald in 2006 for Makeup Artistry Diploma and worked with various clients and brides for many years. In 2022 she moved away from the lower mainland and has now stopped doing makeup and hair services.
In 2012, she took a chartered herbalist program and created some herbal remedies for her and her family and friends. Her Elderberry syrup kits became a hit amongst them so she started creating for others. In 2013, she made the switch to all toxin free and cruelty free beauty products and never looked back!
Her focus now is helping match others to the right products and creating elderberry syrup kits and other herbal products to help keep people healthy. Afterall, beauty is health and beauty is health! Check out the shop page as she continues to add more creations. Custom orders available.
Her passions are wine, herbals, helping others and enjoying lake time on warm summer days.

Ting, makeup and hair
Ting is a full time freelance makeup and hair artist trained at Blanche Macdonald Centre. She currently works year round creating bridal looks for brides and her bridal party as well as various photoshoot projects. Her training and experience in the industry has made her an expert in creating a flawless look for any event. She also enjoys the opportunity to work on commercials, editorials, events and fashion shows. A number of photoshoots she has participated in has been published in several magazines. Ting has donated time and passion to volunteer for many charity organizations such as Vancouver Childrens Hospital, St Johns Hospital, Spinal Chord Gala for supporting ICORD, Children of Street Fashion Show, etc. Her passion of art made her step into the makeup program and after working on all the beautiful faces, the charm and satisfaction let her into this colourful world. “I really enjoy what I am doing and will nonstop keep going”
Dwija, makeup and hair
Dwija is a freelance Makeup Artist based in Vancouver. She carries over 10 years of experience in Bridal Makeup and Styling along with fashion photoshoots and special events. She is a graduate from Blanche Macdonald and her freelance work has been published in over 12 magazines.
She is diligent, punctual and has a very amicable personality that bodes well her confidence in her skills and providing an amazing experience to her clients. She is well-versed with in-trend hairstyles and is quite an expert on skin tones and makeup applications.
She does go an extra mile to exceed her client’s expectations and make sure the overall experience is delightful and stress-free. She duly ensures a clean and sanitized work environment for her clients.
Katelin, makeup, hair
Katelin is a freelance makeup artist and graduate from Blanche Macdonald. She is very passionate about makeup and loves making people feel and look amazing for their special day! Katelin enjoys doing creative makeup looks and up-do’s. She has experience working in the film industry as well and knows the importance of being punctual. She always wants to ensure her clients needs are met!
When katelin isn’t doing makeup, she enjoys going on walks, paddle boarding, baking yummy treats and binging a new TV show! Her current favourite is Ghost Adventures.
Sarwat, Makeup + Hair
Sarwat is blanche graduate who is passionate about beauty and creativity. Her work has been published in four different magazines. She loves creating looks that represents her style along with keeping in mind client’s needs and style.
Her main focus is skin looking great and using correct colours and products according to skin tones and textures.
She puts her heart not only in makeup but also hairstyling. She loves creating diverse hairstyling including curls, half updos and updos.
Marie, Makeup
Marie is a John Casablancas graduate and has a huge passion for makeup artistry. She specializes in enhancing natural beauty with Egyptian magical touches. While she lives in Canada now, she has had many of her work featured in European magazines in France and Ukraine and has done work in the film industry and fashion shows. Marie has over 15 years experience in freelance makeup and as a skin consultant. She works a lot with Charlotte Tilbury as well. Marie loves the details which makes her clients satisfied and happy. Her kit is always clean and sanitized with high quality, professional products.
Marie loves to stay healthy but also has quite the sweet tooth! Seafood and sushi are some of her favourite foods. She enjoys reading, cooking and working out when she’s not doing makeup! When she’s feeling like relaxing, she enjoys a good superhero show.
